Website Design for Schools and Nurseries
Project Overview
Free Rangers is a Forest School Nursery near Bath offering children an inspiring outdoor learning experience. I worked with the team to design and build a custom Squarespace website that reflected their nature-led ethos and showcased the beauty of their surroundings.
Photography and video were central to the project. I captured on-site imagery and footage that told the nursery’s story — from woodland adventures to creative indoor moments. These visuals were used throughout the website and printed materials to convey the warmth, authenticity, and atmosphere of the Free Rangers community.
Website Design & Development
The Squarespace website was designed with clarity, responsiveness, and storytelling in mind. Each page highlights key information through a clean, nature-inspired aesthetic. Built for SEO and easy content management, the site delivers a user-friendly experience that balances professional design with genuine personality.
Photography, Video & Visual Identity
Original photography and short video pieces helped establish a consistent visual identity across digital and print. The natural textures, light, and energy of the setting were captured to create a cohesive brand presence — one that feels authentic, engaging, and full of life.

“It’s always a pleasure working with Stu at Free Rangers Nursery. He manages our website and has produced a number of videos that capture what our setting is all about. His friendly, encouraging approach brings out the best in everyone — even the shyest of our team.
The website he designed is user-friendly, on-trend, and regularly praised by our parents. Stu’s attention to detail and commitment to quality are second to none, and he’s always looking for ways to improve and refine his work. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough.”
